Building a clinic

Singidani Clinic is established as a voluntary organisation in Norway to fund the building of a health clinic in Singida in central Tanzania. 

The process of building Singidani Clinic started in August 2018. The plot for the clinic was donated from Chiku. All building materials and other building expenses have been payed for by supporting friends of Singidani Clinic, including many private persons and organisations in and around Bergen, Norway.

The building of the clinic was delayed somewhat by the pandemic and periodically insufficient funds. 
As of 2025, we are nearing completion of the building. We have had inspection from the Municipality of Singida, and received a list of suggested amendments that we are currently working on. 

We hope to start operation of the clinic early 2026, pending final amendments and approvals.
